Guide Right

The purpose of San Antonio Alumni Guide Right Program is to place the training experience and life lessons of successful men at the disposal of youth for educational and occupational guidance, primarily inspirational and information in character.  The San Antonio Alumni Chapter has developed a Guide Right Program focusing on young men in the San Antonio community age 8 to 18.  Our program is oriented toward helping young men to grow and develop their leadership talents in every phase of human endeavor.

Through our three main programs, First Responders-Cohorts for Lift, Big Brothers Big Sister-Magic While you wait and our Kappa League, we have developed and managed effective programs which have received full support from the community.

Kappa League

The Kappa League is designed to improve the self-image of youth in the community by providing them with challenging and rewarding experiences that will enhance their lives. Our Kappa League program was designed in direct response to the continuing crisis in the community regarding our younger males. The program addresses some of those problems facing youth through a variety of seminars, lectures, field trips and workshops which are all geared toward improving such characteristics as the student's cultural awareness/diversity, academic achievement, and personal development.
